Hi m8, I jst wan 2 shw u bit English spoken and written by native speakers. I dnt wnt 2 cntinue long time, so jst few words.... I hpe u havin a gd fun while readn. U mite hv sum troubles bt u gt used 2 it sumtimes I cnt understand as well. Thanx heaps 4 patience and pls lrn this language properly, at least a ´little bittle´ (as our Indian friends say) :o). When you consider all this and pronounciation where all E sound like I e.g. bed-bid, better-bitr, men-min, fast and furious speech, swallowing words and mix it with different accents of several people the result is ?? the book of English grammar we borrowed from Papamoa library not to forget everything :o)). Learning foreign language abroad is great because what you get is always connected with concrete situation, subject etc., but you never know why, how to spell it and not a bit how to explain whatever to sb else:o).
Indian way of speaking is really interesting as well, they pronounce b instead of v or w, their English mostly consists in pointing with fingers, but at the time of speaking-it is a brain-teaser for us to find it out. I will show you a bit of our common conversation. I: Ju Bin? We: thoughtful expression, Sorry? I: Ju Bin? We: pop our eyes, think a lot, checking ourselves and possible dirt on clothes with the word bin in our mind... Excuse me, I don´t understand. I: No English? We: Yes, we speak english, but we have different pronouciation. I: Ju Bin? and indicate the goal kick, We: aaa, finally, we had got it! the question should have been: Did you win? and Kuba could answer: No, we lost. The topic was football match from previous day. Isn´t this funny? sometimes yes, but sometimes not, e.g. when we arrive in the orchard and there is nobody there, we ring supervisor and he says that we are somewhere else then the rest of the group, he can´t explain where should we go proprerly, we don´t understand their language etc. We have already begun to call the game we play some mornings-Find your orchard. One attempt is scarcely ever enough. All this is crazy from one side, but enriching from the other, we must be able to come to an agreement with many different nationalities, we have to be patient, we can see how things look from different points of view, we train our self-control etc. In fact, people around us are nice, their behaviour is friendly, they´re smilling, showing us their style of life-traditional meals, movies, books, broaden our knowledge out-as they teach us Indian, Spanish and in spite of the fact that there are days we wonder every single hour at least once, we learn a lot and appreciate that.
Our working group consists of Indian family, Brazil girls and boy, China family and Czech couple:o), it could be easily compared to the tower in Babylon, confusion fluently moves onto understanding and vice versa.
